Assistive Technology
Assistive Technology (AT) devices help strengthen a physical or mental weakness, improve function, overcome a disorder or impairment, and ultimately improve the quality of life.
AT is defined as "any item, piece of equipment, or system, whether acquired commercially, modified, or customized, that is commonly used to increase, maintain, or improve functional capabilities of any individual." Examples of assistive technology include durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds and self-help devices such as bath tub benches, eating, and dressing aids.
Pediatric clients are our specialty; however, we have the skills, knowledge, expertise, and ability to provide home health equipment for clients of all ages. ICG collaborates as a team with the client, family, therapist, and physician in evaluating and determining the needs of the client. We provide a therapist's assessment for each piece of equipment and work with the team through every stage of the process ensuring continuity of care for our clients.
Our clients are important to us and we value their needs. Our goal is improving the quality of life for our clients by meeting their assistive technology needs. Therefore, we provide outstanding quality care by providing specialized and custom equipment for our clients.
Additionally, we accept nearly every type of insurance, to guarantee that every client has the opportunity to explore the benefits of Assistive Technology.
