In order to receive Early Intervention Services from ICG, must I go through Child and Family Connections.
It is recommended that you go through your local Child and Family Connections Office. You may consult with us if you are unsure about your child′s needs or condition and whether or not he/she needs services. Additionally, we can assist you in contacting your local Child and Family Connections Office.
What is Child and Family Connections?

My child is over three years old. Can I still receive therapy services from ICG?
Yes, your child can receive therapy services from ICG after he/she turns three years of age. Therapy services can be provided through your private insurance.
How do I know if my insurance will provide coverage for the therapy services that we need?
On the back side of your insurance card you will find a phone number for the customer service line of your insurance provider. You can call this number to verify whether your insurance will cover the requested therapy service. Otherwise, if you are unsure if your insurance company covers the requested therapy services, please contact Beata Hryszko at beatah@icgrehab.com or (312) 943-3600 Ext. 333. She will gladly verify benefits with your insurance company to determine if you are able to receive services from ICG.
How long is a typical therapy session with a therapist?
An initial assessment/evaluation (to determine if the child needs therapy services) will take on an average 1-2 hours.
A typical direct service treatment session is 60 minutes. At least 45 minutes of the session must be in direct treatment with the individual while the remaining 15 minutes may be used to provide family training, education and support.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my child′s therapy?
If the need to cancel/reschedule a therapy service should occur, please contact the therapist that is to provide that therapy service, FIRST. The therapist should have provided you with a contact number/business card. If this did not happen or if you have lost or misplaced that information, contact the office at (312) 943-3600 as soon as possible. We will then consult with the therapist to reschedule your canceled visit.
